Firmware Flashing Instructions

1. Connect the kit to the computer
   Connect the USB Loader to your computer using the provided USB cable, and then connect the 4 pin D2D harness from your USB Loader to the Vehicle Interface Kit, as shown in Figure 1.
   
   Note: High Power USB Port must be used to flash vehicle interface kit.

2. Open the XpressVIP3 application
   Click Start, click All Programs, click XpressVIP3, and then click XpressVIP3

3. XpressVIP displays the vehicle interface kit's existing firmware version. Click the Firmware Search button to find the firmware. as shown in Figure 3 below.

4. XpressVIP displays the a list of firmware compatibile to the connected kit. Choose the firmware to be flash, click the select button. as shown in Figure 4 below.

5. Flash the new firmware to the kit
   To being flash the firmware, click [Flash]. A progress bar will show the status of the write process.
   Note: The update process will take approximately 30 seconds.
   
   Do not Interrupt the firmware update process

6. Complete the update
   When the update is complete, a message will appear on the screen as shown in Figure 6. The current information box (see Figure 6) will be updated with the current version of the reflashed file. You may close the application and disconnect the kit from the computer.
