Installing IntelliKit v2.920
Before installing IntelliKit v2.920, take a moment to review the system requirements listed as below. Press here for installation flowchart

Minimum Software Requirement
Prepare the following before running the installation file or software:

Supported Operating Systems:
Windows 2000; Windows XP; Windows Vista.

256 MB RAM (512 MB recommended) (1 GB RAM for Vista).
-
Pentium III 500 MHz or faster.
-
Internet Connection if using Firmware Wizard or Vehicle Wizard.
-
An account belonging to the Administrator's group of the local computer where
the software will be run.

.NET framework 2.0. IntelliKit v2.920 requires .NET framework 2.0 or higher
version installed on your computer. If you have the latest Windows OS you
should have it already installed. If the file doesn't run simply download
.NET Framework Version 2.0 from Microsoft.

Before installation
Prepare your computer
-
If you have version older than IntelliKit v2.920 installed, please uninstall it
before installing the new version. Click here
for the steps to uninstall older version of IntelliKit v2.920.

Disconnect the USB Loader from the PC by disconnecting the USB Cable.
Install IntelliKit v2.920

Download IntelliKit v2.920
Download the setup file
-
The following Open File Security Warning message appears when attempting to
install software programs onto your system running Windows XP Service Pack 2,
as shown in Figure 1 for Windows 2000/XP/Vista; and Windows 98/ME in Figure 2

It is safe to click the Run button and install IntelliKit v2.920.

When the Self-Extractor window appears, click the Setup button to continue.

At the 'Select Installation Folder' screen, either browse to the location to
which you would like to save the program, or leave the default location. Also,
indicate whether you'd like the program to the accessible to 'Everyone' or
'Just me', then click the Next button to start installation.

The installer launches the USB Loader driver installer, click Next

Read the License Agreement and click Yes.
If you decline, you cannot continue the installation.

Select a folder into which you want to install USB Loader driver, click Next
to continue

Installation Complete
When the installation is complete, the 'Installation Complete' window will be
displayed, as shown in Figure 9.
Click the 'Close' button to exit the installation wizard.

Connecting your Vehicle Interface Kit to a PC for the first time
Be sure to INSTALL INTELLIKIT V2.920 SOFTWARE BEFORE CONNECTING VEHICLE
INTERFACE KIT
Important: Windows will ask you to run the following steps the first
time you plug the kit into a USB port. You must have administrator privileges
the first time the kit is used on any given USB port.

Connect the kit to the computer
Connect the USB Loader to your computer using the provided USB cable, and then
connect the 4 pin D2D harness from your USB Loader to the Vehicle Interface
Kit, as shown in Figure 10.

After connecting the kit to your PC, "Found New Hardware" screen is
displayed (Figure 11).

The Window's New Hardware Wizard will pop-up detecting a new CP2102 USB to UART
Bridge Controller. Select Install the software automatically from
the options that are presented to you and click Next.

Click Finish to close the New Hardware Wizard
-
After a few seconds the Window's New Hardware Wizard will pop-up again,
detecting a new CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller. Select Install the
software automatically from the options that are presented to you and
click Next.

Click Finish to close the New Hardware Wizard
-
It is recommended that you restart your computer.
