Uninstall older version of XpressLoader (v2.2 or older)
& USB Loader driver
If you need to remove the older version of XpressLoader (v2.2 or older) or the USB Loader driver, please use the Add/Remove Programs option from the Windows Control Panel.

To uninstall XpressLoader from the Windows Control Panel
  1. Do one of the following
    - On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
    - On the Windows XP taskbar, click Start > Control Panel.

  2. In the Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs, as shown in Figure 1.

  3. In the list of currently install programs, click XpressLoader. Click Remove to unintall XpressLoader, as shown in Figure 2. below.

  4. Click Yes to confirm that you want to uninstall the product


To uninstall USB Loader driver from the Windows Control Panel
  1. Do one of the following
    - On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
    - On the Windows XP taskbar, click Start > Control Panel.

  2. In the Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs, as shown in Figure 1.

  3. In the list of currently install programs, click Cygnal CP2101 USB to UART Bridge Controller. Click Remove to unintall XpressLoader, as shown in Figure 3. below.

  4. Click Yes to confirm that you want to uninstall the product

  5. In the Application Maintenance window (Figure 4), click Remove.

  6. Click OK to confirm that you want to uninstall the driver

  7. Some of the driver files are set to read only, you are asked if you want to delete them. Click Yes to delete the read only files from your computer, as shown in Figure 6 below.
